This new item offers the same service as current MBS item 40862 but will allow the service to be performed remotely and is relevant to neurologists or neurosurgeons (or highly specialised nurses under the supervision of a neurologist or neurosurgeon). This change is the result of recommendations by the Medical Services Advisory Committee.
